Intruder Alarms
Centurians Intruder alarms are designed for the very specific environment that they are protecting. Systems are designed to meet current European Standards EN50131:1 intruder alarms and comply with local Police Authority policies for remote signaling or audible only systems. Detectors are designed to work to optimum conditions allowing the highest performance for intruder coverage, but also provide a high level of anti-false protection. CCTV

Access Control
Increasingly businesses are using managed access control including proximity cards, biometric technology and simple electronic digital code locking systems to reduce the risk of theft and unauthorised entry to their premises. Centurian specify and install a vast range of access control solutions from audio intercom systems through to fully managed PC controlled access systems. To ensure maximum protection access control systems can be integrated with other building services including intruder alarm systems, lighting systems, gates and barriers for car park access.
Intercom systems wether it be audio or audio and video are more and more commonly used for flats and apartment blocks and are a good form of security.
Fire systems

Security lighting
Many people believe that Automatic Lighting is a good deterrent although others argue that the 'villain' has already crossed the property's boundaries by the time Passive Infra-Red sensors have detected movement and activated floodlights (or other illuminations), at which point it is already too late. They also argue that the 'villians' are not afraid to work in the light as the majority of break-ins occur during daylight hours anyway, and that animals can 'trip' the sensors. As people are used to external lights coming on, they don't investigate if a neighbour's lights come on. That said, we at Centurian still believe that it is better to have Automatic Lighting rather than none at all. No-one can deny the peace of mind the lights give when in residence knowing that there are no undesirables lurking in the shadows and there is also a lot to be said for the feeling of safety when arriving and leaving a lit property, however, we prefer to call it Automatic Lighting and not Security Lighting.
